“Reduce Food Waste & Grow Food” Event

Honour to the past World Food day; the “Reduce Food Waste & Grow Food” event was organised at Kokkoya Organics on 13th November 2022, to raise awareness of food waste and promote a circular economy approach for the food industry.

Naw Julie Aung, Technical Expert of Prevent Plastics Myanmar, shares a discussion on “Food Security, Food Waste & Open Dumping of City Solid & Organic Waste” to pursue individuals #behaviouralswitch for profound social changes.

The event was packed with engaging discussion sessions with a demonstration on enhancing the local food system by OrganicValley, Waste to Resources by Bokashi Myanmar & Home gardening Tips by Kokkoya Team.
