Support MSMEs

Dedicated to advancing sustainability within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), it conducts comprehensive baseline assessments to evaluate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with these enterprises, providing critical data that facilitates informed decision-making. The Waste Reduction Program has been enhanced to emphasise corporate GHG measurement and valorisation to reduce their environmental impact effectively.

In addition, the initiative develops specialised tools, such as a Waste Exchange Platform and a Pollution Monitoring Platform tailored specifically for MSMEs, which support improved waste management and pollution oversight. Furthermore, there is strong advocacy for establishing social enterprises and informal MSMEs, emphasising the importance of improved segregation and valorisation of post-consumer materials. This effort aims to create a sustainable and environmentally responsible future for all MSMEs in Myanmar.
