Orientation of Youth for Environmental Action and Hope (YEAH)

On October 5, 2023, a new chapter began as we launched the YEAH (Youth for Environmental Action and Hope) Programme at Goethe-Institute Myanmar, one of our valued venue partners. YEAH is a collaborative effort between Prevent Plastics and Thant Myanmar, designed to empower and educate Myanmar’s youth about environmental sustainability.

YEAH’s mission is to equip the youth with the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to sustainable development. Our comprehensive curriculum covers a wide range of environmental topics, fostering a deep passion for conservation and positive change.

By nurturing environmentally conscious and empowered youth, YEAH aims to create a brighter future for Myanmar and the planet. We instill purpose and provide practical tools for young people to make a meaningful impact on environmental issues.

We’re excited that the programme will commence in a hybrid style, enabling 25 youths from across Myanmar to participate.
