Environmental Awareness Training on Plastic Waste Management at German Embassy Yangon

Technical Experts of Prevent Plastics Myanmar provided environmental awareness training on plastics and waste management to the German Embassy team. It explored the negative effects of plastics on the natural environment and the importance of waste separation for recycling. The training will support the German Embassy’s ongoing efforts to become environmentally friendly. 
Some of the thoughts from the embassy team place a smile on the trainer’s eyes.

Since March 2022, Prevent Plastics Myanmar has been organising the Environmental Awareness and Waste Reduction Training Program at local SMEs and factories, sharing the impact of climate change, acknowledgement to reduce plastics, and proper ways of waste management.

Seeing the actual evolution of the participants’ behaviours and implementation at the workplace to reduce single-use plastic at the individual level after this training brought strength & motivation to the Prevent Plastics Myanmar team to continue further training.
