The “Repair Tour – Textile” event has successfully concluded!
Clothing items can last for many years, so it’s important not to throw away your shirts or pants because they are worn out or have stains. Wear them as long as possible, and repurpose them in other ways when you can’t wear them anymore.
The “Repair Tour—Textile” event lasted four days. During this period, 43 items were repaired, patched, and painted.
At the event, not only were patches sewn on, but creative embroidery was also added. Stains were beautifully covered with paintings. Unusable clothes and difficult-to-repair items were transformed into tote bags, headbands, and earrings.
A big thank you to each textile repair volunteer who helped make this event successful. We also appreciate everyone who came to the Repair Tour with interest and got their items fixed.
Big thanks to our venue partner – What’s Up Yangon, Cafe Deja Brew & Kokkoya Organics.
