On Sunday, July 23rd, Prevent Plastics+ successfully hosted the “Circulate: Trade, Sell, and Buy” event at Kokkoya Organics, bringing together community members with a shared commitment to sustainability and mindful consumption.
The event was designed to address a common challenge: the accumulation of unused household items that often end up discarded, contributing to environmental harm. By creating a space for trading, selling, and buying pre-loved items, the initiative encouraged participants to extend the lifecycle of everyday goods and reduce waste.
This initiative not only helped divert usable items from landfills but also celebrated the idea that one person’s surplus can be another’s solution. It was heartening to witness the enthusiasm and generosity of all who participated.
Prevent Plastics+ extends sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this event.
